permissions, pt. 2.

FUTURE DIARIES. many of the characters in mirai nikki have objects called "future diaries" - what form they take depends on the character, as do their powers, but all diaries have the form to tell the future in some way (hence the name, hurrrr). the 1st, yukiteru amano: yukki's diary is the "random diary". it looks, well, like a cellphone. it's one of the most powerful diaries, as it records the future just as yukki previously kept a diary; attention to the details of everything around him. basically, it gives him a fairly detailed description of things that are happening not only in the immediate area, but in the future as well. it comes with two catches. the first of these is that it does not tell him anything about him unless he is immediate danger of death in the future (a DEAD END, which the phone will happily point out) -- and the second is that it is limited by his perception. if he thinks he sees something a certain way, that's what the phone will record, even if that's not necessarily what happened (or will happen). the 2nd, yuno gasai: yuno's diary is the "yukiteru diary". it also looks like a cellphone. yuno's diary is much more limited in that it gives her very specific information about what will happen in the future, but only as it relates to yukki. it gives her no information about herself (unless something happens to her in relation to yukki), and does not tell her anything about the surroundings unless they directly involve yukki. while this is a fairly weak power in and of itself, the combination of these two (and given their relationship, they will be used in combination) basically allow them to know what will happen in the future, within certain limitations (as things, of course, can change the future; the future they see on their phones is not set in stone). if you are okay -- or not okay -- with them possibly knowing what your characters are up to (especially in relation to someone doing something to either one of them; both of them are each other's highest priorities), please say so here!
